Over 60 years old Wen Shan Bao Zhong from Pinglin area. A truly rare and powerful tea, which is close in character to the great and long-aged sheng puerh or Liu Bao.
A tea that was already among the archives by the time I was born.
The tea has been aged for decades in ceramic vessels and now we have the opportunity to taste this unique drink. On my first testing, I stated that it was too expensive and hence, I would like to taste the tea but not buy it.
However, after tasting it I changed my mind. I had tasted teas aged 20-40 years for a while before, but the extra 20 years makes a significant difference and the result is hard to describe. I had to stop for a moment and just be quiet.
Very smooth, full velvety flavour and aroma combining medicinal herbs, sweet root vegetables, noble wood, a hint of cocoa and poppy. A very clean and clear infusion. These are the attributes of this tea.

Preparation per 100ml - 6-7g, 95°C, 25-45 s for the first 3 infusions, lasts for many infusions, depending on your preparation method and preferences.
