A Japanese shiboridashi by Master Akizuki—a late artist from Tokoname. This piece dates from the 1960s to the 1980s.

He was also a brilliant calligrapher and engraver. If you’re looking for a unique shiboridashi to enjoy gyokuro, this could be a right catch.

The shiboridashi does not come with its original tomobako, but it will be shipped in a spare box made of Japanese ceramics.

Before use: before first use, rinse the teapot in hot water and let it dry completely.

Maintenance: do not use cleaning agents or a dishwasher. Clean by hand with clean water, without chemicals. The teapot must be left to dry after each use. Ideally, designate the teapot for a specific type of tea for which it will always be used.
