Arakai Estate Premium Green 2021 - 50g - Weight: 50g

Summer harvest from the Australian garden of Arakai Estate, Bellthorpe, Queensland, located at 580m altitude. The tea was harvested in February 2021, so this was the 2021 summer harvest.
 
Arakai Estate is 1 hectare in size and grows the Japanese cultivars Sayamakaori, Yabukita, Meirokyu, Yutakamidori, Fushin & Okumidori. The teas are a mix of leaves in the following proportions - Yabukita (40%), Sayamakaori (40%), Meirokyu (6%), Fushin (6%), Yutaka Midori (6%), Okumidori (2%)
 
Aroma of sage leaf sweet, floral, slightly creamy. The infusion is orange-golden in colour, refreshing to the eye.
 
The taste comes from the aroma, sweetish honey, flowers, tropical fruits, creaminess, without astringency. The flavour is fuller and more robust than the spring first flush, but still full of flavour and a very drinkable tea indeed.
 
 
Preparation per 150ml - 5g, 85-90°C, 40-50s, according to each individual's taste preferences. 

Multi-pour, lasts 3-4 infusions.
