First Flush from Arakai Estate, Bellthorpe, Queensland, Australia, located at 580m above sea level, was harvested in October 2018, so it was the spring harvest of the 2018/19 season.
The spring harvest takes place in Australia in the October/November period. Arakai estate is 1 hectare in size and grows the Japanese cultivars Sayamakaori, Yabukita, Meirokyu, Yutakamidori, Fushin & Okumidori. The garden began operations in 2010 and the first commercial harvest was in 2015 and since then they have been winning awards not only in Australia.
The aroma of sujo leaf is sweet, floral, exotic with a hint of overripe fruit. The infusion is orange-gold in colour, already very refreshing to look at.
Taste coming out of the nose, sweet, floral, after dried tropical fruit, fermented fruit, creaminess, without astringency
Very closely evokes Taiwanese black teas. Although a Japanese cultivar, the processing is based on the Taiwanese concept of oolongs with a longer wilting time and prolonged rolling.
It is a harmonious, balanced tea, the individual components complement each other very well.
A truly unique tea affair.

Preparation per 100ml - 4g, 98°C, 40-60s, then slightly extend the infusion interval, according to your taste preferences and requirements.
I recommend stronger infusions, this tea will not bitter, but you will get a thick nectar :). Try experimenting.
Multi infusion, lasts 3-4 infusions.
