Orthodox Assam FTGFOP1. The tea has a deep amber infusion, strong, rich, malty flavour, typical of teas from Khongea Tea Estate.

Khongea Tea Estate was established in the late 19th century by English growers, but has now been managed and owned by the Prakash family for over 50 years.

It is located in upper Assam on the south bank of the Brahmaputra River.

Dark, evenly rolled fine leaves offering a fruity sweetness even in the wet leaf aroma. The flavour is full-bodied, strong, malty - a combination of ripe fruit and honey. 

An excellent tea to start the day at an unbeatable price.

Brewing: 150ml, 2,5g, 3 min, 95C.
