.

Tea from old-growth trees in the Baka Nan village area, which is part of Bulangshan Township, Menghai County, Xishuangbanna.

The village is located at an elevation of 1,650 meters, with an average annual temperature of 18–21°C and high rainfall, making it an ideal environment for producing premium teas.

Baka Nan, along with four other villages (Lao Ban Zhang, Xin Ban Zhang, Lao Man E, and Baka Long), falls under the Ban Zhang Village Committee. However, the villages are inhabited by different ethnic minorities. Xin Ban Zhang and Lao Ban Zhang are Aini villages, Lao Man E is a Bulang village, and Baka Nan and Baka Long are Lahu villages. “Nan” means small and “Long” means large. Baka Nan means “abandoned small dam,” while Baka Long means “abandoned large dam” in the Dai language. These two dams, one large and one small, form the two Lahu villages.

The aroma of the dry leaf is delicate; due to its “youth,” fruitier, honey-like notes predominate.

The tea’s flavor is rich, full-bodied, and slightly sweet, with a delicate texture. It combines fruity-honey and mineral notes that are nicely balanced and clean. Even though the tea is only 7 years old, it is very pleasant to drink and refreshing. So if you prefer fruitier, fresher flavor elements, this younger sheng is a good choice.

Brewing for 100ml - Gong fu Cha - 4-5g, 90-95°C, 20-30s first infusion, pour off subsequent infusions immediately, extend the time interval only when the tea loses its strength.
