.
Black tea from Xiping, Anxi, Fujian, China.
It is made from the Ben Shan cultivar, from a garden that follows the Nature Farming way and is at an altitude of around 800m. It is a producer of the classic TGY, which we also offer in Twigs and Roasted versions.
The aroma of the leaf is subtle combining slightly sweet fruit and grasses.
The tea also shows this in the taste. You will get a clean, light and fresh infusion of medium full body. The taste is fresh, combining perhaps orange with dry grasses and a hint of forest honey.
A really light tea for quiet and undisturbed sipping.

Brewing per 100ml - Gong fu Cha - 4-5g, 99°C, 60-80s first infusion, then 60s, or extend according to taste preferences. Lasts 3-5 infusions depending on preparation.
