Dibrugarh Exotic Assam SF 2026
Dibrugarh Exotic Assam SF 2026
.
Second Flush from Assam, in the Dibrugarh District. The tea was hand-picked from Camellia sinensis var. assamica at a lower elevation of around 150 meters.
This is a large-leaf tea, very delicately processed into a fine, slender leaf of dark color with a hint of gold.
The aroma of the dry leaves is fresh and slightly sweet, with notes of fruit and exotic woods.
The tea’s flavor is medium-bodied to full-bodied. On the palate, it is very fresh and easy to drink, as if it were a combination of the fuller-bodied Assam and a spring Second Flush Darjeeling.
The flavor combines exotic fruits, forest honey, a pinch of spices and exotic woods, and just a faint hint of cocoa.
A truly lovely example of what a nice Assam can be like at an affordable price.
