Doke Rolling Thunder Oolong AF23 - 50g

Autumn harvest of oolong 2023 from Bihar, from Doke tea garden. The leaves used were from the Assamica cultivar - TV25 / TV26. 

A unique oolong from this region, which is sun-dried and then oxidised to give it its delicate flavour and fruity aroma.  The infusion has a beautiful orange to amber colour and the taste offers a combination of dried apricots, dates with notes of fresh fruit and exotic woods and a pleasant sweet aftertaste. 

A very interesting tea also in terms of price/performance ratio, try it if you like teas from the Nepal region and autumn harvest.

Preparation for 150ml - 3g, 90-95°C, 2,5 min. according to everyone's preference. Followed by a shorter steeping of 30-50s, lasts for 3 infusions (maybe more).
