Gaba Oolong Tea Cake - 100g
100g Gaba cake pressed from Bai Lu cultivar. This is a more heavily oxidized oolong, which is suitable for storage and aging due to its processing. However, the tea is already delicious now.
The tea is weakly pressed, so you can very easily separate the whole leaves, in fact it is possible even without an awl.
The 'oxygenation' takes place in an atmosphere rich in nitrogen, which turns some of the substances in the tea into so-called gaba elements. Gaba oolong is one of the healthiest oolongs, with the highest content of antioxidants including catechin, flavanoids and polyphenol. However, to be able to list GABA in the name of the tea, it must contain at least 150mg/100g of tea.
The tea offers an orange-gold infusion, with a taste reminiscent of a combination of ripe fruit, raisins, forest honey, and noble woods. This tea is pleasantly drinkable even in the early evening and offers several infusions.
Brewing for 150 ml:
5-6g of tea, 98C water, first pour 30-45s, then extend the time interval, according to taste preferences. Lasts at least 4 infusions.
