Gorobei Kiln is a traditional Japanese pottery studio specializing in Bizen-yaki.
It was founded in 1867 as the trading company Buyo Gorobei Shoten, and it wasn’t until 1979 that a pottery studio specializing in Bizen was established.
It produces functional ceramics, such as tea sets, vases, and sake sets. The goal is practicality and high aesthetic value.
Only one piece available; the vase shown in the photo gallery will be included in the delivery.
Height is 22cm, diameter at bottom part is 10cm.
The package includes a signed tomobako and a certificate.

Care and Use: Bizen teapots and Bizen ceramics in general are susceptible to thermal shock. It is very strong yet also fragile.
However, when using the vase, there is no risk of thermal shock as with tea ceramics.
Maintenance: Do not use cleaning agents or the dishwasher. Hand wash with clean water, without chemicals. The teapot must be allowed to dry after each use.
