This is an exceptional white tea made from the same tea plant variety commonly used to produce the renowned Hong Yu TRES.18 black tea. This harvest took place in early March 2026, prior to the Qing Ming Festival—a Chinese holiday celebrating purity and clarity that is also observed in Taiwan.

The tea is hand-picked in the Ming Jian area of Nantou County, at an altitude of approximately 300 meters above sea level. This tea is made exclusively from the first spring shoots and has a high proportion of tips. Hand-picked, then spread out to wither, hand-tossed to initiate oxidation, and dried to preserve its fresh aroma. This year’s harvest is particularly successful thanks to favorable spring conditions in Taiwan.

The beautifully processed leaves (see photo) emit a very intense, fresh, fruity aroma.

The tea’s flavor is clean, fresh, and full of fruity notes combining green apples, yellow melon, and a hint of honey. The tea withstands many infusions and has an incredibly intense aftertaste that lingers in your mouth for a long time.

This is a limited production; the tea mellows with age—in this case, the years do it no harm.

Brewing: 150 ml, 6 g, 90–95°C, 50–60 seconds for the first infusion, then 20–30 seconds for subsequent infusions, and once the flavor begins to fade, add 10–15 seconds. The tea can withstand at least 5 infusions.
