Hong Yu White Curled 2024 TRES.18 PQM

This is an excellent white tea made from a variety commonly used to produce the famous Hong Yu TRES. This harvest is therefore from early March 2024 and took place in the run up to the Qing Ming Spring Festival, which is the Chinese festival of purity and brightness, but is also celebrated in Taiwan.

The tea is hand-picked in the Baguashan area, at an altitude of around 300 m above sea level.

Although dark in appearance, the leaf offers a bright and clean infusion, with aromas and flavours of fresh eucalyptus and cinnamon combined with exotic fruits, a very heady experience indeed.

This is a very limited production, the tea will mellow with age, years are not a bad thing in this case.

Brewing: 100ml, 4g, 90°C, 20-40s, depending on preference, then extend the time interval.
