First Flush from a garden located in Sarcheshmeh village, Gilan province, at an altitude of 200m. This is a unique first collection. This tea is hand picked and a selection of the best tea bushes - selective grade. The tea was harvested at the end of April 2023.
The garden itself is less than 500m2 in size, there are several gardens of this size in the area, focusing on quality hand production.
Larger leaf, slightly rolled and really carefully crafted, with less golden tips. The aroma of the dry leaf is sweet and fruity, offering a combination of figs, honey, dried mountain herbs.
The infusion is orange-golden in colour, already refreshing to look at. It is a very easy drinking tea despite its different preparation method. It tastes of sweet figs, oranges, exotic fruits, slightly spicy with a full aftertaste that is very addictive, though strong, so very pleasant, unobtrusive and long-lasting.
A truly unique tea affair and it must be said that even the quantity in stock is very limited.
Brewing: 200ml, 7-8g, 95°C, 7 min. Single pouring. Can be experimented with but not suitable for gongfu cha, already tried :).
