A very elegant vintage vase by master Jinshu—Seiji Ito.

A vase made of reddish-brown unglazed clay—Shudei—thrown on a potter’s wheel. Reduction firing with a darker transition at the neck.

Precisely drawn neck with symmetrical handles. A very clean and elegant design. This is an older piece.

Master Seiji Ito used this stamp on his bonsai pots and vases.

This piece does not come with a Tomobako, which is why it is priced lower than it would be if it were sold with one.

Vase dimensions: height 13 cm, diameter 11 cm, neck 2.5 cm.

Before use: rinse the teapot in hot water and let it dry completely before using it for the first time

Maintenance: do not use detergents, dishwasher. Clean by hand, with clean water, no chemicals. Do not clean with clean detergents. The teapot should be left to dry after each use. Ideally, specify the teapot for the specific type of tea for which it will always be used.
