Konishi Yohei Kyusu Flower Carving - 320ml

.

Teapot by Japanese master Konishi Yohei. The decor of flowers is engraved all over the surface of the teapot. The base of the teapot is red clay and the teapot is precisely crafted.

The volume of 320 ml is without tea leaves, you need to take into account the resulting volume of +-260 ml when making tea.

A larger teapot for tea parties of several people. A real gem in the range. Packed in a signed paulownia wood box.

This is the first direct export of this master outside Japan, also made possible by my collaboration with his student Taisuke Shiraiwa.

.

Before use: rinse the teapot in hot water and let it dry completely before first use.

Maintenance: do not use detergents, dishwasher. Clean by hand, with clean water, without chemicals. Do not clean, clean with detergents. The teapot should be left to dry after each use.
