.
Japanese kyusu teapot in the Hira style by master Koshin - Kato Tadaomi (1944-2024)
These teapots undergo multiple firings, with the second firing in a reducing atmosphere helping to achieve an almost black color.
The handle and lid of the teapot are polished, while the "body" of the teapot has a fine sand texture called "Pine Tree Peel."
A beautiful collector's item that is a joy to use for tea. Teapots from this master in such a small volume do not always appear, making them a rarity.
Each piece is unique.
