A needle-leaf shu pu-erh from old trees in the Lancang region of Yunnan. A large portion consists of golden buds, which give the tea a subtle and delicate, multi-layered flavor. The cake is gently pressed; the golden buds are clearly visible, and the tea breaks apart very easily.

When brewed, the tea has a deep red color, a smooth and full-bodied flavor, and a smooth, delicate mouthfeel. The flavor combines forest berries, figs, and exotic woods with a full-bodied texture, without any astringency. 

The flavor is sweet, full-bodied, and smooth. The sweetness gradually emerges in subsequent infusions, which have notes of dates and exotic woods. A nice Gong Ting Shu puerh.

Brewing: 100 ml, 6–8 g, 98°C, quick rinse, 30 seconds for the first infusion, followed by 15–25 seconds per infusion depending on preference. 

Since this is a Gong Ting Shu pu-erh, it yields 6–7 infusions.
