A delicious Vietnamese tea Gushu MaoCha (sheng), which was harvested in the Lao Cai region in April 2020 from wild tea trees, at an altitude of over 2000 m. The Lao Cai region lies on the Vietnam-China border, adjacent to Yunnan.
The leaves undergo a short wilting process, then briefly dried to fix the flavours for 20-30 minutes and hand-rolled, then sun-dried.
This is a very fresh, complex and balanced tea with full body and a lingering sweet aftertaste. It tastes of plum with a hint of spice, floral and fruity.
Brewing: 100ml, 3-4g, 95°C, 15-20s min. first and second infusion, then lengthen the interval to taste, lasts for many infusions.
