Wen Shan Bao Zhong 2026 Spring - Competition Grade - 150g Tin

(The entire box contains 2 cans of 300g each, for a total of 600g)

,

An exceptional competition-grade Dong Ding oolong, from the spring harvest of 2026, made from the Chin Xin cultivar.

This tea is one of the finalists in the world-renowned Oolong competition, which determines the value of the harvest for local farmers and is highly prestigious not only in Taiwan.

LGTTS—Lugu Township Tea Society—is held in Lugu Township, Nantou County. It is held twice a year and focuses exclusively on traditional Taiwanese oolongs, particularly Dong Ding.

The “5 Plum Blossoms” rating indicates a very high, above-average score; only the top 10 teas, which command very high prices, rank higher than these.

From an oolong with this rating, you can expect perfectly executed traditional roasting, a full-bodied and oily texture, notes of roasted nuts and grains, ripe fruit, and honey, with a very long finish. The color of the infusion is as shown in the attached photos.

Due to their character and packaging type, these teas have excellent potential for aging and maturation, which enhances their complexity.

If you order 2 tins, you will receive a sealed box.

.

Brewing for 100 ml: 6 g of tea, rinse, water at 98°C, first infusion 40–60 seconds, followed by 30 seconds; gradually increase the steeping time starting from the fourth infusion. It can yield 8 or more infusions, depending on the preparation method.
