A beautiful Guinomi cup by master Genji Shimizu—Hokujo, who was born in 1945, is 81 years old, and continues to create in his studio in Tokoname.

This small 60-ml cup is intended for sake, but there’s no reason we can’t use it for tea as well.  

The cup comes in a single-item Tomobako box with a certificate. You will receive the item shown in the photos.

Before use: just rinse, no further care is necessary.

Maintenance: do not use cleaning agents or a dishwasher. Clean by hand with clean water, without chemicals. The chawan should be left to dry after each use.
