An antique tea bowl made of Bizen pottery by Matsuda Kasana IV (1933–2003). The bowl itself is approximately 40 years old.
Matsuda Kasan began his career as a ceramic artist in 1955. He won numerous competitions, received many awards, held solo exhibitions, and was a member of the Japan Craft Association.
A beautiful example of Bizen pottery, showcasing masterful firing techniques. It has a beautiful shape that fits comfortably in the hand.

Before use: just rinse, no further care is necessary.
Maintenance: do not use cleaning agents or a dishwasher. Clean by hand with clean water, without chemicals. The chawan should be left to dry after each use.
