Middle Mountain Rose Dan Cong 2018 - 30g
This is a Dan Cong grown at an altitude of approximately 850 m above sea level, hand harvested in April 2018, in Tian Zhu Keng Village, Guangdong.
The leaves are hand-picked in late April from 25-35 year old tea trees. The tea has been carefully processed like traditional Dan Cong, with light to medium oxidation, in order to preserve the floral rose-like aromas.
The infusion is very light, combining cream, meadow blossom, peach and rose in the background that you can't escape. The tea can withstand many infusions.
The tea is ideal for gong-fu cha style brewing and will last for 6 to 8, or more full-bodied infusions.
5g per 100ml, 95C - first infusion 30s, gradually pour through quickly. Alternatively leave longer depending on taste preference.
