Mituoyan Tie Luo Han 2026 - 30g
Mituoyan Tie Luo Han 2026
.
A cliff-grown oolong harvested in April 2026 from the Tie Luo Han cultivar, which is one of the so-called “Four Famous Bushes” of Wuyi—Da Hong Pao, Tie Luo Han, Bai Ji Guan, and Shui Jin Gui.
The harvest area is Mituoyan, which is part of the core region within Wuyi.
The tea is processed using the traditional charcoal roasting method, undergoing two cycles of slow roasting over a total of 24 hours.
The dry leaves are classically twisted and firm, with a glossy appearance; the aroma is rich, with notes of flowers and ripe fruit.
The infusion is a deep orange color. The flavor is silky, fresh, and highly aromatic, with a long-lasting aftertaste. It combines the flavors of roasted nuts and dark chocolate in the first few infusions, then evolves into notes of dried plums, dates, dark honey, and subtle woody tones; in the final infusions, you can expect a long, mineral aftertaste and the characteristic “rock rhyme.”
I highly recommend it.
