This is a premium high altitude oolong from the Muzha region and the Tie Guan Yin - Hong Xin Wai Wei cultivar was used for its production.
In this case, it is the Tie Guan Yin cultivar - the Iron Goddess of Mercy, a famous Chinese tea that is crafted with the precision inherent in Taiwanese oolongs. The tea is deep baked - i.e. heavily roasted. An excellent tea for lovers of quality, heavily oxidized oolongs - 30 to 35%.
The tea is harvested at the end of April 2023 and then roasted. The colour of the infusion is golden brown.
The flavour is a combination of ripe peaches, walnuts in honey, cane sugar followed by a lingering aftertaste.

5g of tea.
water temperature: 95°C
