This is an excellent white tea made from a variety commonly used to produce the famous Hong Yu TRES. This harvest is therefore from February 2024 (20/02/2024) and took place in the run up to the Qing Ming Spring Festival, which is the Chinese festival of purity and brightness, but is also celebrated in Taiwan.
The tea is hand-picked in the Ming Jian area of Nantou County, at an altitude of around 300-400 m above sea level.
The tea offers a bright and clean infusion, with aromas and flavours of fresh eucalyptus and cinnamon combined with exotic fruits, a very heady experience indeed and a lovely smooth drink.
This is a very limited production, the tea will mellow with age, the years are not a bad thing in this case.
Preparation per 100ml - Gong fu Cha - 4g, 90°C, 40-60s, according to preference, then extend the time interval.
