A high altitude tea from the Shanlinxi region, hand picked at an altitude of 1200-1400m in September 2023. The tea is made from the Qing Xin cultivar and is beautifully beaded as is customary with high altitude oolongs from this region.
A delicious tea that belongs to the semi-green teas, however, with a high level of oxidation that brings notes of cherry and peach, fresh vanilla.
However, it is still a high mountain oolong that is still floral, honeyed in flavour and what's more, this tea is beautifully velvety even with a very long steeping time, so it's up to you how strong you make it, it's still deliciously drinkable.
The tea is vacuum packed to preserve freshness and quality.
