The author of Shiboridashi is Michal Koczor - Oyuceramics. It is a wood-fired stoneware. Spun on the wheel. Shiboridashi is inspired by the aesthetics of Japanese ceramics.
Literally translated, Shiboridashi (絞り出し) means "to squeeze", and therefore Shiboridashi are known for "squeezing" the natural umami out of shaded Japanese teas, specifically gyokuro and kabusecha, as well as premium senchas. They are also very popular outside of Japan and are used for black teas, oolongs, white teas and more. The wood firing produces original, unbreakable patterns.
