Red tea from the Kanaya Midori cultivar, from the Shizuoka region of Japan. This is a late summer harvest.

A beautifully crafted, smaller, delicate leaf that shifts in colour from light brown to black.

The aroma of dry leaves is fresh, slightly fruity and sweet.

The infusion is clear, bright and amber in colour. The taste of the tea is medium-bodied, combining fruity flavours of citrus, sweet pear, light honey.

A successful red tea with a great price/performance ratio.

Brewing 150ml: 6g, 98C, first infusion 60s, second infusion 30s, third infusion again 60-70s, possibly longer if you don't want to continue with a weaker fourth infusion.
