Red tea from the Yabukita cultivar, from the Shizuoka region of Japan. This is a late summer harvest.

Precision crafted foliage that shifts in colour from light brown to black, 

The aroma of dry leaves is a combination of honey and spices.

The infusion is clear, bright, deep amber in colour and beautifully drinkable.  The palate is full-bodied, honey-sweet, combining ripe fruit - dark cherries with cinnamon and other spicy notes in the background. 

Another very nice tea from Japan with a great price/performance ratio.

Brewing 150ml: 6g, 98C, first infusion 60s, second infusion 30s, third infusion again 60-70s, possibly longer if you don't want to continue with a weaker fourth infusion.
