A teapot by Master Shoyo featuring beautiful leaf engravings and an unusual shape for this master.

Shoyo is no longer creating works, so this teapot will not be available in the future; it is truly a one-of-a-kind piece.

Shoyo was born in 1941. In 1966, he founded the Shoyo Ceramic Studio.

He has won numerous awards in ceramic design competitions. Master Shoyo’s teapots are characterized by their inro lids. The lid fits perfectly onto the rim of the pot, creating a highly airtight seal.

As always, it pours perfectly; I know of no teapots of better quality than those by Shoyo.

Before use: rinse the teapot in hot water and allow to dry completely before first use.

Maintenance: do not use detergents, dishwasher. Clean by hand, with clean water, without chemicals. Do not clean with clean water, clean with detergents. The teapot should be left to dry after each use.
