Top quality, high altitude tea from Sri Lanka. Hand harvested from the garden at an altitude of 1245 m in April 2023.

The unique flavour of the tea comes from a combination of three different climates from the Kandy, Dimbula and Nuwaraeliya regions.

The infusion is full-bodied, refreshing. The flavour is a combination of tangerine, rose, exotic fruits, a hint of spices. The colour of the infusion is dark red, almost red. A tea reminiscent of more oxidised oolongs, perhaps wuyi, but with its own distinctive flavour and character.

Sri Lanka Ruby Gem

Hand harvested from a garden at an altitude of 1340m. The garden is located in the Dimbula area and the cultivar used was TRI 2043 - Camellia sinensis var. assamica 'TRI 2043'.

This cultivar was registered with the TRI-Tea Research Institute of Sri Lanka in 1958. It is a cultivar that produces 'silver tip quality', i.e. the highest quality teas.

The tea is full-bodied, energetic and clean infusion with a taste of honey, apricot, a light blend of spices with a lingering aftertaste.

A premium, high altitude tea from Sri Lanka, harvested in April 2023.

Hand harvested from the garden at an altitude of 1245m. The garden is located in the area between the Kotmale and Dimbula valleys and offers specific climatic conditions for the production of this unique tea.

The cultivar is called Old Seedlings by the growers themselves. The important thing is, of course, the resulting taste of the tea.

The tea is medium-bodied, tasting of honey, ripe citrus and cocoa. Very delicious, slightly stimulating, calming, with a long lasting aftertaste.
