Tay Con Linh Mt. Gushu Shai Hong 2024 - 30g
.
Sun-dried black tea - shai hong from the Tay Con Linh mountain area, i.e. from northern Vietnam, from the area close to the border with China.
The altitude of hand picking is around 1200m, Assamica cultivar and Gushu tree age. This is a fresh shai hong that was harvested in October 2024. So a few months/years of aging will do it good, however it is already great.
Beautiful dry leaf processing with a high proportion of golden tips and a very pleasant, floral aroma that is honey-sweet, as you would expect from a shai hong.
The taste of the tea is full-bodied, honey-floral with warm notes, a hint of spice in the background. The first infusion also offers a light citrus/fruity freshness, which fades with subsequent infusions and transitions into honey-sweet notes with a slight minerality.
Another representative to the popular category of sun-dried red teas.
Packed in 30g packs due to the size of the leaf.
.
Brewing 100ml - Gong fu Cha - 4g, 95°C, 30-40s first and second infusion, then extend the interval according to your preference.
Lasts 6 infusions, or more. Depending on the method of preparation.
