Wild Suoi Giang High Mt. 2022 - 50g

Vietnamese, high mountain red tea from the Suoi Giang region, one of the best areas for wild tea processing. The leaves are harvested by hand from wild-growing Camellia Sinensis Assamica tea trees at altitudes of around 1400m and above. The harvest took place in September 2022. 

The tea comes from a small factory that specializes in processing leaves from wild tea trees. The leaf is processed in the form of one bud and two leaves.

This is a complex black tea offering chocolate and malt notes with hints of caramel, ripe fruit, a hint of pepper and noble woods. The colour of the infusion is amber and, because it is a tea from slow-growing ancient trees whose roots are deeply rooted, it will last 6 or more infusions.

Probably the best vientam red tea on offer.

Preparation for 150ml - Gong fu Cha - 6g, 95°C, 35-45s min. first and second infusion, then extend the interval to taste, lasts many infusions.
