.

Tea from ancient trees in the Yiwu region—Mahei. Yiwu is located in the southwestern part of the Six Famous Tea Mountains, in the border area of Xishuangbanna Prefecture in Yunnan Province. The old town of Yiwu lies at the southern foot of the mountain. The elevation exceeds 1,300 meters, and the surrounding peaks are densely forested. Mahei is one of the most famous and valuable tea-growing areas in the Yiwu region.

Once again, very nice material; see the photo. The aroma of the dry leaf is delicate, clean, and mature.

The tea’s flavor is rich, full-bodied, and slightly sweet, with a delicate texture. It combines fruity-honey and mineral notes that are nicely balanced and clean.

Even though the tea is over 20 years old, you can still detect honeyed, sweet fruit notes in the background, which blend beautifully with the maturity and the elegant, pleasant bitterness of aged sheng, which will accompany you and gradually evolve into delicate mineral notes.

The tea is suitable for aging, though it is ready to drink now.

Expect countless infusions—make sure you have enough time to enjoy this tea.

Brewing for 100ml - Gong fu Cha - 4-5g, 90-95°C, 20-30s first infusion, pour off subsequent infusions immediately, extend the time interval only when the tea loses its strength.
