This is an excellent Taiwanese oolong from the winter harvest 2023. The tea is hand-picked in the Mei shan Mountains at an altitude of around 800m above sea level, located between the famous Shanlinxi and Alishan regions.
This tea is lightly oxidized - 15% and then lightly roasted. It comes from the Chin Xin cultivar.
It offers an infusion of light greenish colour with the aroma and taste of mountain flowers, peaches and nuts.
This is a delicious tea that is sure to be a permanent fixture on our menu!
Preparation per 100 ml:
Gong Fu Cha - 4-5g of tea, 98C water, first pour 45-65s, second pour 35-50s, then extend the time interval. 4-6 infusions, depending on the preparation method.
