Another tea from master Zuo Ruyu, this time a red tea from the TTES.no 13 - Cui Yu cultivar.

The tea comes from the I-Lan region, from a garden at an altitude of around 600 m. It was harvested in 2015, specifically during the spring harvest on April 20, 2015, and is therefore an archive tea that has been maturing for 10 years.

The tea has undergone full oxidation and is scented with pomelo flowers, which are harvested once a year. The flowers themselves are not part of the tea.

The leaves are precisely processed into small pearls, more commonly found in oolongs, and will delight you with their very subtle and delicate aroma combining forest honey and pomelo.

The infusion is full-bodied and beautifully combines artfully aged red tea with the flavors of ripe stone fruits such as cherries and a subtle taste of pomelo. Nothing distinctive, just a delicate combination of flavors that will not disturb you and allow you to enjoy the moment.

Brewing for 100 ml: 5-6 g of tea, water at 100°C, first infusion 30 seconds, then 30 seconds, 30 seconds, 50 seconds, then gradually extend the infusion time. I really recommend this tea in smaller volumes, maximum 150 ml. Its quality is suited to this.
