1983 Muzha Tie Guan Yin - 50g - Weight: 50g

Very good archive Tie Guan Yin from Muzha area in Taiwan. Thanks to controlled maturation in quality conditions (regular roasting to maintain the original flavours and a clean storage environment) we can offer another archival Taiwanese oolong of high quality.

The 1983 tea has already reached 40 years of age and yet offers a beautifully clean, clear infusion of orange-brown colour, gradually revealing its complex flavour during infusions. The combination of flavours of prunes, raisins, lightly roasted nuts, still noticeable fruity notes and smooth texture is surprising given the age of the tea.

Preparation per 100ml - Gong fu Cha - 6-7g, 95°C, 20-30s, identical for first to third infusion, then extend interval. Lasts for many infusions.
