Shu from northern Thailand, Chiang Rai, produced in January 2025, leaves harvested in autumn 2024. The tea was sun-dried, fermented, and pressed into 100g cakes.
The altitude of manual harvesting is around 950 m, Camelia sinensis, Assamica variety.
The aroma of the dry leaf is slightly sweet, creamy, combining forest fruits and wood.
The taste is sweet, full, creamy smooth, full of forest fruits, mainly blueberries, with notes of wood and a hint of forest herbs and spices in the background. The yield of this tea is excellent!
Probably the best batch of shu tea from northern Thailand in a design by Pavel Poncar. .

Brewing for 100 ml: 4-5 g, 95°C, 20-30 seconds for the first infusion, then 15-30 seconds according to preference; it can withstand many infusions.
