Gaba Oolong comes from the Minjian area of Nantou, at an altitude of around 300 meters. It is a spring harvest from 2024, and the Qi Yun TTES.23 cultivar was used for the tea.
The Qi Yun TTES.23 cultivar was developed by the Taiwanese institute from Keemun plant seeds and was released in 2018.
The tea is processed into small pearls and the dry leaves smell of a combination of fresh fruit and cream.
The infusion is amber in color and tastes of fresh citrus fruit, raisins, and vanilla.
