Shan Lin Xi Gui Fei - Winter 2023 - 50g
A high-altitude version of the Gui Fei oolong with a medium level of oxidation and no roasting. Harvested in September 2023, cultivar Qing Xin. The tea is sourced from the high mountain region of Shan Lin Xi, from an altitude of 1100m and is of course hand-picked.
This is an unusual Gui Fei that did not go through final finishing and roasting, it was not necessary.
The aroma of dry leaf is fresh and sweet. The leaf is processed into classic pearls with colors ranging from light green to black.
The flavour of Shan Lin Xi's highland oolong is noticeable, full of subtly sweet honey, a fresh floral taste with a distinct fruitiness. Very pleasant to drink.
Recommended.
Preparation:
5g per 100ml of tea. 40-60s first infusion, then extend the interval.
Lasts for many infusions.
