Oolong tea originating from Taiwan, from a high mountain garden located in the Lalashan Mountains at an altitude of 1250m. The garden is certified organic. 

The tea is hand-picked from the Qin Xin cultivar and is a summer harvest from 2022. It must be said that the older this tea gets, the more beautiful it becomes. I have had the pleasure of testing older vintages as well, but unfortunately they were not for sale. This tea follows a similar path in processing to the Oriental Beauty, however the resulting flavour is very far from that renowned tea.

The aroma of the dry leaf is exotically fresh, fruity, sweet and invigorating. .
The infusion is clean, bright, combining notes of ripe, fresh exotic fruits (yellow melon, pear, apple, fresh mango) combined with mountain flowers and a very pleasant and lingering fresh aftertaste.

Unique organic tea from a beautiful Taiwanese garden. This is how I imagine a high quality highland oolong.

Brewing 100ml: 4-5g, 95°C, 50-60s first infusion, subsequent infusions 10-30s, depending on personal preference, really lasts up to 10 infusions and is really good for pouring quickly.
