A vintage chawan in the Zeze ware style, a type of Japanese pottery from the Zeze region, now part of the city of Otsu on Lake Biwa. 

This pottery originated during the Edo period in the 17th century and is closely associated with the tea ceremony. 

Beautiful craftsmanship with a very interesting, flowing glaze.

Chawan dimensions:

- diameter 12,5 cm

- height 7,5 cm.

Before use: just rinse, no further care is necessary.

Maintenance: do not use cleaning agents or a dishwasher. Clean by hand with clean water, without chemicals. The chawan should be left to dry after each use.
