Wushe High Mt. Cliff-Grown Oolong 2023 - 30g
Product code: P00738 Shipping and Payment
High mountain oolong from the Wushe area of Nantou. Tea plants grow on steep slopes, which is where the tea gets its name, and its processing is similar to that of cliff oolongs from CN. The tea plants are grown using natural farming methods (organic production without certification).
The tea is hand-picked at an altitude of 1200-1500m above sea level from the Chin Xin cultivar and was harvested in August 2023.
It is oxidized to 35%.
Beautifully processed whole-leaf oolong from Taiwan is not standard, but that makes it all the more enjoyable. The tea is suitable for aging.
The aroma of the tea is a combination of mountain coniferous forest, freshness, and mineral tones.
The taste of the tea is full, fresh, combining high mountain floral tones, nicely balanced with mineral components, light fruitiness, and a long-lasting sweet aftertaste. Its character is similar to Wuyi oolongs, but it is still a tea from Taiwan :).
Another beautiful example of a very high-quality oolong from Taiwan.
