Shu from the Mengku area from the 1990s, so this is a very mature piece.

The tea is processed from large, whole leaves, the brick is lightly pressed so it separates and portions beautifully.

This really is a very fine piece on offer.

The flavour of the tea is beautifully mature, very smooth, delicate yet full-bodied. It combines hints of figs, exotic woods, a subtle creamy sweetness.

A great drink, I can only recommend it. Because the quantity is not large, it is offered in 30g.

Brewing 100ml - Gong fu Cha - 6-7g, 98°C, 20s first infusion, further infusions 10-15s, when it starts to lose, you can start to extend the time interval.

Lasts for many infusions of 7 or more. You don't have to worry about longer times, the tea will never be harsh, it is beautifully aged and will eventually just have a thicker body and flavor, yet still beautifully drinkable.
