Black tea originating from Taiwan, Hualien, Liu Shishi Moutain, located on the southeast coast.

The tea is hand-picked from the Jin Xuan cultivar and is the 2024 summer harvest.

The aroma of the dry leaf is fresh and fruity sweet.

The tea also shows this in the taste. The infusion is clean, combining honey sweetness, notes of ripe fruit, and light floral notes. Zero astringency, it is really a very delicate tea.

In character, this tea is close to hong oolong, although it is characterised as a black tea. You can extend the steeping time in preparation, there is no astringency, only a fuller flavour.

Brewing: 100ml - Gong fu Cha - 4-5g, 95°C, 60s first infusion, then extend infusion time by 5-10s, lasts 4-6 infusions.
