Chawan from the workshop of master Mizuki with shino glaze. Tomobako box and certificate are not included, so the price is about half the value of the complete package.

Shino ware is a traditional Japanese pottery from the Mino region (16th century), typical of a thick white feldspar glaze, a slightly irregular surface and natural traces of firing (red to gray spots).

Before use: just rinse, no further care is necessary.

Maintenance: do not use cleaning agents or a dishwasher. Clean by hand with clean water, without chemicals. The chawan should be left to dry after each use.
