Sencha Karigane Ishidera - Kukicha 2025 - 50g

Sencha from the Wazuka area of Kyoto, from a small family farm where the craft has been passed down for generations. The harvest took place on May 2025 from the Yabukita and Okumidori cultivars at an altitude of 230m.
 
Karigane, or Kukicha, is a tea made from tea leaves and stems.
The tea has a mild creamy nutty taste combined with spring grasses and a sweet aftertaste.
 
Excellent price/performance ratio.
Vacuum packed, stored in the fridge.
 
Ideally prepared in shiboridashi:
First infusion - 80C, 4g, 70-100 ml, 40s.
Second infusion - same temperature 20s
Subsequent infusions, increase water temperature and extend the leaching time. 
 
It should be noted that it is advisable to experiment with teas and discover their beauty!
