Xigui Manglu Mountain Gushu Tree Cake 2009 - 400g

The whole cake is 357g, if you order 50g you will receive the tea in a zip bag with the logo.

.

Tea from old trees in the Manglu Mountain region, pressed using a traditional stone-pressing method. The result is a looser, less compact cake with a more natural leaf structure. This allows more air to circulate between the leaves, which promotes more even aging of the cake.

The leaves are visually stunning, with a high proportion of downy tips, as shown in the photo. The aroma of the dry leaf is very delicate, dominated by notes of dry grasses, a light floral quality, and a hint of sweetness.

The tea’s flavor is rich, full-bodied, and sweet, with a delicate texture. It combines floral and mineral tones that are nicely balanced and clean, with notes of dried herbs and grasses in the background. It still retains its strength, and if you prefer a stronger brew, simply extend the steeping time.

Another fine representative of this interesting region in our archive and selection.

.

The tea is suitable for aging, though it is ready to drink now.
